All food and beverages are the responsibility of the person(s) using the cottages. ALL FOOD must be removed
and/or discarded upon departure, unless previous arrangements are made with the next scheduled guests.
- All trash must be collected, placed in a plastic bag(s), tied closed, and stored in the garbage cans INSIDE
the garage, including the garbage can(s) located at the dock. MAKE SURE ALL LIDS TO THE CANS ARE SECURED.
- All recyclable materials must be placed in bags or containers next to the garbage cans inside the garage
upon departure.
- If you use linens, bath/hand towels, or beach towels that are stored in any cottage, you must have them
cleaned and returned to the cottage the weekend after your stay ends. There is a laudry washer and dryer
located in the Lakeside cottage to facilitate this.
- Please perform the following cleaning before departure as a minimum. Vacuum
carpet in living/dining areas. Clean the kitchen floor, all kitchen utensils, dishes, countertops, etc, and
put all items away. Clean the bathroom floors, counters, toilets and showers/tubs.
- No fires or fireworks (including sparklers) on or near the Trex dock or deck as any sparks discolor and
damage the surface. Also, fuel mixtures and motor oil discolor the surface and should be performed off the
Trex surface if possible, or clean any spills immediately with mild dish soap.
- Before leaving, put away all outside dock items used (stackable chairs, toys, etc) in a neat manner in the
main cottage basement (with the exception of large table with chairs, and chaise lounges). Lock all doors.
- Close and lock all windows and doors; turn off all heat, lights, fans, etc. In the Lakeside cottage, close
all blinds, and make sure ice maker is in the ‘on’ position before leaving.
- When you are visiting the lake for only the day or weekend, please store all of your food, clothing, etc.
in the Lakewood cottage. Prepare and eat any meals in the Lakewood cottage. Arrange with the person(s) already
staying in the Lakeside cottage as to their schedule of using the kitchen(s). Any beach towels used during the
visit are to be washed and returned, washed at the lake before leaving, or bring your own.
